We came across these old church ruins while driving from Portugal toward Valencia, Spain. We hiked up the steep, rocky path and explored around a bit.

Taken from a hotel rooftop, a rare glimpses of the morning sun during monsoon season.

Lamp

The juxtaposition of the sun and the lamp sets up an interesting contrast: one is the lamp of this world, and the other lamp of the that 50 feet of asphalt and grass.
Whatever glory men think they may have, God's glory far outshines it. It's
silly to even compare the two.
