Fog over the James

What drew me to shooting this was the faint arch bridge in the distance and how shrouded it was in fog.

We came across these old church ruins while driving from Portugal toward Valencia, Spain. We hiked up the steep, rocky path and explored around a bit.

Lamp

The juxtaposition of the sun and the lamp sets up an interesting contrast: one is the lamp of this world, and the other lamp of the that 50 feet of asphalt and grass.
Whatever glory men think they may have, God's glory far outshines it. It's
silly to even compare the two.

Virginia Beach after dawn

I just woke up, looked out the hotel window, and the rising sun was disappearing behind gathering storm clouds — not to be seen again for a few days. And yet for a few moments the brightness and strength of the rays glanced off the cold Atlantic, though the sun itself was well hidden in the cloud bank. I thanked God for being able to enjoy the limitless wonders of His creation.
